Study manager/project manager for computational pathology research

Job description
The Computational Pathology Group of the Radboud University Medical Center, Nijmegen, The Netherlands, is offering a position for a research assistant/project manager. We have rapidly expanded over the last few years, counting over 15 people today. To support ongoing and new studies, we are offering a very diverse position in a stimulating environment, for someone that will be responsible for:
  • Project management: watching over deadlines, meetings, contacts, budgets;
  • Data/study management: keeping track of the large amounts of data we produce;
  • HR tasks: contracts, vacancies;
  • Personal assistance to the group leaders: planning meetings, administrative tasks.
You should be creative and enthusiastic, holding an MSc or PhD degree, with strong affinity with medical research. You should be flexible, proactive, with good organizational and computer skills, and good communicative skills (explicitly also in English).
The Computational Pathology Group (CPG) is a research group of the department of Pathology of the Radboud University Medical Center. CPG works closely together with The Diagnostic Image Analysis Group (DIAG) of the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. We develop, validate and deploy novel medical image analysis methods, usually based on machine learning technology and focusing on computer-aided diagnosis (CAD). Application areas include diagnostics and prognostics of breast, prostate and colon cancer. Our group is among the international front runners in the field, witnessed for instance by the highly successful CAMELYON16 and CAMELYON17 grand challenges which we organized. We closely collaborate with clinicians and industry.

Working conditions
